ARCHOS 140 Cesium

We recommend to use this process for frozen devices, devices that don't start or have other software malfunctions. This process allows you to format your device by erasing completely the internal storage. Consequently, all your data will be erased and there will be no option to get back what have been erased. Beforehand we invite you to save your data if possible. Also charge the device's battery enough before starting the process.

From the settings

  1. Go to Settings > Update & security.
  2. Select Recovery, then select Get started in the Reset this PC section.
  3. Select an option.

From the sign-in screen

If you can't open Settings, you can still reset your device from the sign-in screen.

When the Windows homescreen is displayed:

  1. Hold down the Shift button of the keyboard, then move the cursor to select Power on off> Restart.
  2. Once the Choose an option screen is displayed, release the Shift button.
  3. Select Troubleshoot, then Reset this PC.
  4. Select one of the two options below:
    - Keep my files to restore your device without erasing your personal files
    • Reinstalls Windows 10 and keeps your personal files.
    • Removes apps and drivers you installed.
    • Removes changes that you made to settings.
    • Removes any apps your PC manufacturer installed. (If your PC came with Windows 10, apps from your PC manufacturer will be reinstalled.)
