The base of your Mini Cam must not be placed on a metallic item, it can disturb the operation of your accesory. 

Before placing your Mini Cam, make sure to respect the maximum allowed distance for Bluetooth Smart®, a maximum of 20m. 

Please note that the base attachment patch is extremely sticky. Make sure to find the right place before fixing it permanently. Also note that if you detatch it for moving house (for example), it could damage your wallpaper or the paint. 

Concerning the Mini Cam, the pairing button indicates the direction that it will take photos/videos. To get a photo or video with the correct orientation, make sure the button is at the top of your Cam.
