The Movement Tag must not be placed on a metallic item, it can disturb the operation of your accesory. 

Before placing your Movement Tag, make sure to respect the maximum allowed distance with Bluetooth Smart®, namely maximum 20m. 

Furthermore, please note that the base attachment patch adheres very well. Make sure to find the right place before fixing it permanently. Also note that in case of moving out, it could damage your wallpaper or the paint on removal. 

Finally, make sure that the distance between your Movement Tag and its magnet is not too high. Otherwise, it will always be detected as open and you won't see any status change.
