We recommend to use this process for frozen devices, devices that don't start or have other software malfunctions. This process allows you to format your device by erasing completely the internal storage. Consequently, all your data will be erased and there will be no option to get back what have been erased. Beforehand we invite you to save your data if possible. Also charge the device's battery enough before starting the process.
